So, today I am at one of my favorite Coffee Shops called The Beat. Love this place I feel confortable here nice people, where they don't really care as much how you look like, how you dress or whatever. Just a nice confortable place where I could be and not really be judged.
I guess is one of those places that some people call "hipsters" but to me is just a "regular" place where I feel confortable hanging out at, drink coffee, write blogs, read or whatever. Maybe even write a book or something. The music they put on is nice, groovy and all. It looks like a fun place to work at and all, and I love it. Different people that come here, such as business people, musicians, poetry writers, and such, even some artists have/rent a room where they do their art for I guess people to look at and what not. Even students come and hang out, do homework or what not. Just nice in general. Just the right kind of environment you would like to be around in and feel confortable and all. The coffee is good, and even the food too sorta like a cafe you see around but more relaxed. There is no drunk people around or obnoxious cooky people. There is even a Burlesque Hall of Fame room sorta like a mini baby museum of Burlesque from the 30's to 80's I believe.
Someone sometime ago had told me that The Beat CoffeeHouse & Records was back then a hospital, for the mentally ill or something like that. Nothing scary around here though. But let me tell you that I have walked around where the artists are in their cubicles those I guess were supposed to be the rooms for the patients and all. I like the way it feels when I enter at this coffee shop because it just feels nice to me to hand around and drink coffee.
