Today is my off day from work, and I am out with my mom, she has a Dr.s appointment and asked me the day before if I wanted to go with her. Don't hate me but I didn't want to do anything today, all I wanted was to stay home and be lazy, watch movies and have a at home spa day and do my own pedicure at home, and relax since I have to be at work tomorrow. But it's okay I don't mind spending time with her at all. Yet I cannot stand this lady at times! She talks crazy like most mothers who are on the older side. But it's okay, I'd probably be the same if I were on her position. On the other side I'm with her at her Dr.s appointment and she'll be getting a device thing that will help her with pain which I'm happy for her, and she's very excited for that too; says she can't wait to go back to work! She's been so annoyed about staying home with nothing much to do.
So, today while at my mom's Dr. appointment I was called and asked by my manager if I wanted some over time at a different store. I wanted to say yes and get that over time, but I could not leave my mom by herself on her appointment when I had promised I would go with her. Maybe hopefully next time I will be able to pick up some over time if offered. My mom's birthday is coming up in a few days, and I will order her a pizza. Not because there was nothing I was not able to afford but because she had asked for a pizza months ago. Only because I brought home a few slices from a pizza party we had at work and the slices I brought to her she liked so I will order her the same type of pizza it was, the pizza was a large stuffed crust with white sauce, pineapple, black olives and bacon. My sister wants to do something this weekend to celebrate mom, so you best bet I'll be there with my family and getting to spend time with my nephew as well! It'll be a good day you best believe!
