Five Below Haul

  Hello everyone! I wanted to come show you and talk about the haul I did at Five Below. I did this haul through DoorDash. I was looking through the items yesterday as it was one of my days off from work. And since I slept most of the day I thought it would be easier for me to do the haul through DoorDash. As most of you know not everything was five or below, but I picked items I thought I would like and some I definitely did like. So here we go everyone! I hope you enjoy!

  So, this perfume was substituted from the one I had originally picked. Not my favorite and not one I would had picking my own. But it will do the job though, it kind of looks like Ariana Grande's perfumes. I have smelled some of her perfumes and body sprays and they are too sweet for my taste. This one perfume it's not sweet or too strong. It will do the job, but for around $5 I cannot complain though.

  This one perfume i liked how it smelled. A bit floral?! Clean and fresh for sure though. This one perfume i would wear for whenever I do a clean shower routine to smell clean and fresh. Though it may not last the whole day but it will do the job though.

  This one I saw a YouTuber trying it, not this specific smell. But one like it, the one I picked is coconut and I definitely did like it a lot. This body spray is one I would use during spring and summer. I feel like it would definitely make me smell fresh and coconuty if I pair it with a body wash and lotion with a similar smell. And you know, with the green color I would think is cucumber smell Wich would be even better, for summer specially. This one I will be using a lot though.

  So, peel off masks I like those very much so. When I saw they had these I had to get them, I am very excited that they are neon colors! I will definitely will have an 80's spa day with these! 

  I am very happy that I was able to find this 24k face serum, and got it. A while back, at Burlington I saw one very similar to this one but I never got it. When my mom and I went back to Burlington I was looking for it and never found it. So yes! I am glad I was able to find this one at Five Below. 

  This hand sanitizer it's a cute little thing, a dupe for those viral ones. I forget what they are called. But anyway! I picked this one because of course it's pink and I thought I would like the pink sugar smell. I did not ended up liking it on the least! I will have to take it to work for everyone else to use 

  This wet n wild lippie, is a pretty rosie pink. I liked it, I typically go for the reddes of reds for lipsticks. But lately I've been leaning towards softer pink colors, and this one is one perfect color.

  Not sure why but I felt like I needed to get this facial roller thingy. I believe those things were viral at one point, not sure if they still are or not. But why not, this facial roller thingy would be perfect for when I use sheet masks and help the leftover serum absorb in to the skin while massaging the skin.

  I had to pick some lip masks of course! I have used lip masks before not this brand though. But I liked them enough to get more, I want to think that they do help, specially to moisturize my lips and and make them soft. As my lips tend to get chapiand dry. No matter how much water I drink or the amount of lip balms I use. I still end up with dry and chapped lips. So these definitely help a lot, should help I hope.

  I'm glad I was able to find feet masks. I use these as much as I'm able to. Whenever my mom and I go to Dollar Tree I look for foot masks and if I'm able to find them I get a few. If I do not have any foot masks I use Vaseline on my feet more so on the heals, as that is the area that tends to get driest. Don't give me wrong I do my own pedi at home. I also like to use foot masks right after I do my own pest. If I'm not able to do so right after, I want until the next time I get a chance to use them.

  Oh my goodness! Don't let me get started on how many sheets face masks I have on hand. Don't give me wrong I do use them. My mom at times gets upset at me because of how many I have, and won't let me buy anymore until I'm 'almost out' but the again she at times asks me for one or two. So I just have pick the ones that she wants and will use. So I don't mind it.

  I picked this pair or under eye make for $1. These will be a new pair for me that I will get to try out, and I'm excited! I may use them over the weekend when I'm off. I will have a spa day and hopefully my mom joins me..

  I have used nose strips before, not these ones though. I like using them because more often than not, they trap the black heads off my nose and anything else off my nose. So, I think these are perfect, and I think they'll do the job just fine, right!?

  Last but not least, the eyes shadow pallet. I picked this one because of course the colors are pink. The colors are a soft mauve pink color. I don't have many eyes shadows because I typically don't use eye shadow unless it's glitter of course. But I may exited to try this one though. We'll see how looks and works.

CoffeeVlog time

    Hello everyone! I feel like is been quite a while since we talked. And I have some updates for you all. So back towards the end of August I had an interview at a gas station. Not exactly somewhere I was looking to go back and we for a gas station. But anyway I was called about an hour or two later and they offered me the position. I was and still am very happy that they did. My friends' husband and her as well where able to get me the interview and the job. I am very thankful to bother my friend and her husband for helping me get the job. 

    Before I got hired at the gas station I work for now, I had many interviews with not hearing back from anyone. And yes I did missed going to some as my mom was feeling unwell at the time. I was close to being desperate for a job. I am glad though that I was hired immediately at the gas station (AMPM/ARCO) That I work for now. I am very happy to have amazing people that I work with and an amazing Manager as well. I feel very happy and thankful that I work with amazing people. 

Walmart Haul

This past week my mom and I went to Walmart. And I picked up a few things that I needed and some on clearance so here we go and let's talk about what I grabbed, yeah?

these tank tops were on clearance for $1 each so I grabbed five in different colors. I like using them on summer when it's hot outside. Yes I may get a sunburn or tan lines but to help not get that I of course use sunscreen a cap and umbrella as much as possible over the summer. Now these shirts I use them under my work shirts. I feel that is more comfortable and yes I know it sounds like a millennial thing, that's because I may be one. But anyway I like them and they are comfortable enough and soft.

So, I saw these pants and I liked them. They are the Jessica Simpson brand. I grabbed size 16 and they fitted good. A boy stretchy which is good for me at least.

And since I needed some black pants for work as well. The pants were $35, maybe they are a bit on the high price, I know I'll get a good use out of them having to work at a gas station now. I also like the studs that they have.

These socks!! Let me tell you, that when I saw they were on sale for $0.50 I had to grab them. I couldn't pass them, am they are cutest in my opinion. The ones with the cherries they are a four pack. The other socks on that pack have other fruit designs, they are all so adorable.

I needed some black mascara. I went for the wet n wild waterproof one. As that is one of my favorite brands for mascara. This one mascara I grabbed it for $3.99 I believe. The chamaeleon lip foils are so good!! My mom had bought me the pink one around the 4th of July. When my mom and I went to my sister's house for the 4th of July I wore that lip foil that day and my sister loved it and of course I ended up giving it to her as the awesome sister that I am 😉. When my mom and I were at Walmart I ended grabbing both colors they had in stock, the pink one and the green ish one as well. I had mixed them both on my lips and I liked how they both looked together.

My mom and I were casually passing by the Halloween section and I saw this cup, and I loved it. The cup reminded me of Harry Potter a bit. I like that I keeps my iced coffee as cold longer and I like that. The cup was $19.99, and to be honest I like this cup better than the overpriced ones.

This one cup I also found it on the Halloween section at Walmart. This one was $3.99 this is a glass cup. I liked the ghosts in the cup through I can't lie. This one I think is a 16oz??

And finally the shoes! I grabbed these for work. They are slip in shoes, they are comfortable. These shoes I grabbed them for $24.99 I believe. They are anti slip shoes they also have a good grip around the foot and being anti slip as well?! Props to Walmart for their work shoes I like that.

Thrifti Shopping

    Hey there guys!! I hope you all are doing okay and had an amazing day I hope. I would like to apologize, because I meant to have this blog out this past Saturday, but I had a hectic weekend. I also had an interview last Friday, but this would be in a next blog and let you guys know how it went its all good news though so no worries. 

    Sometime last week my mom and I went thrift shopping, and I had a nice time with her, thrifting. We did find some nice items that she liked and some that I liked. and spending time with my mom was great. So now lets get stated and let me show you what I got down below.  

I found this backpack that I liked, not just because its pink but when I was taking a peek inside the backpack. I saw its one of those you have seen online that turn into luggage like backpack, a carryon I should say and let me tell you, it is very spacious even I am just using it as a backpack for work. Of course, I also can fit my iPad and laptop in there. I really like it and it feels comfortable specially the shoulder straps. Oh and the backpack I paid $6.99

Now let me tell you about these leggings!! I saw them, I liked them I put them in the cart. But later right before my mom and I checked out I started doubting whether I should get them or not. I even took them out of the cart. I was honestly doubting getting them last minute, but my mom told to just get them. The leggings reminded me of the 60's/70/s the flower power movement situation. I love how pink they are. They were $4.49

 

These purple jeans, I liked them and of course since the thrift store that my mom and I went to does not have dressing rooms anymore. I tried them on top of the leggings that I was wearing that day. I wanted to know that they would fit before I got them and of course they did I like how they fit. Not too tight yet not too loose either, they wrinkle a bit around the ankles, but I like it though. They remind me when I was in high school and dressed emo/scene style. I would like to add some gems or something sparkly to them and make them funky like maybe. I am still undecided if I should or not though. Let me know what you think! But for now, I will leave them like that. they were $6.79

This dress, yes it looks gray and plain and that is okay with me though. It is very comfortable and flowy. I would like to add some tulle underneath the skirt area of the dress but I want it to be a bit longer and be a bit puffy, and perhaps some bows or flowers. I am unsure, but something I would like to do later to make it less plain, or look different. Let me know what you think, and if you have any ideas let me know as well. This dress I paid $10.99

So, this dress I stinking like it! Not just because it's pink but also the flower pattern as well. I would had liked it even more if he flowers were a different color other than yellow. I am not a yellow kind of person. But I give the dress a pass. Only because the dress itself I like it. Does fit and I like how it fits very flowy. Its a dress I would pick and throw on if I am in a quick hurry to get somewhere and I would like to look comfortable yet put together in some type of way. For this dress I paid $8.99

This one it is a dress but not exactly, it has a body suite like thing that are shorts. It's like a skort but as a dress. I like that it has pockets in the front though. It looks like something I can exercise with. Fits me a bit tight but other than that its comfortable. When I showed my mom how it looked on me on when we got home, she thought it looked like a bathing suit.

This dress...silver and sparkly. I like it!! I found this on my bed the other day when I got home from work. I am not sure if it fits or not, I have not yet tried it on yet. I just hope that it does fit though when I try it on. 

This sleeveless leather jacket looking thing I like it. Again, I am unsure if this one fit either, I also found this on my bed along with the dress when I got home the other day. I like the leather part and the flowy fabric as well. It gives it an edgy look to it, and I like it.

If you have any ideas on what to add to some of the clothing to make it better or give it a glow up. Let me know. I like all the pieces that I found but I think some can look better modified or some items added, even bedazzled.

Where do I want to travel to?

     So, maybe all of this may sound like I may be just dreaming, or I do not know what it may sound like to any of you, but I as of lately I have been telling myself that I will move the New England (of the US of A) area. That I'll be visiting Salem on the weekly basis and such, and visit all of the New England states, and never get bored. I have been wanting to do so for quite a while now. Now, I know these areas are more expensive to travel to, but I would like to visit Europe, each of these for about a week.

     Italy, as I would like to visit that church that is in Rome, I forget what is called my apologies. I would like to visit Venice and eat all the food and candy that Italy has to offer, and experience the beauty, maybe even take a ride in one of the gondolas because why not. The Vatican in Rome because the painting that it has, and if there I believe that one painting is there if not then ill be on the hunt for it a library there that too. The coffee shops in Italy just sounds magical, on a spring day. Learning about the Sistine Chappel, and the leaning tower of pizza, and of course learning a lot about Italy and such and perhaps taking classes how to cook some good Italian food more so how to make spaghetti from scratch and pizza as well. All of this just sounds amazing. and I hope that one day I can visit Italy and experience it all or at least part of it, with however long I may be able to get.

    Visiting Ireland on a rainy and foggy day just sounds like something out of a fantasy story. Visiting the forests or just staying in a cabin in the forest near town maybe. To visit the coffee shops in town, eat all the unique foods as well. If the city or town gets overwhelming why not take a stroll or hike int he forests. In hopes to see all the faeries, Komes, and such even the faerie rings. Ireland jus sounds like a place all fairytales happen with all the magical creatures. All the beautiful sights that you see in pictures but are amazing to just look at in real life. If I ever get to visit, I hope I get to be lucky enough to fund a four-leaf clover with enough magic and luck, and if so, I will sure keep it safe in my wallet. Of course, we cannot forget about learning as much as we can in Ireland. We can't forget to visit the more well-known parts of Ireland as well as the lesser-known ones, and have and have as much fun as possible. I will definitely feel like royalty if I get to visit the castles that Ireland has specially the historic ones if they happen to have some and learning the history because yes. The Irish people I met when I was working as a sales associate on the strip they were so stinking nice! And that accent though?! I would ask or mention something along the lines about faeries or gnomes and such, and they either would go along with it or the very few of them specially the elderly ones would tell me some stories or with a smile away at the mention of such. That made me more excited about wanting to visit Ireland.

       

    Norway, oh my goodness! Norway sounds like another magical place to visit and learn more about. One thing that I will be exited to see would be the northern lights, and the milky way and all the stars. When I was working as a sales associate in one of the casinos on the strip I met many people from around the world. Few of them were from somewhere in Norway. They were really nice, if and when I get the chance to visit Id like to eat so many sweets such as candy, cookies and such and of course you cannot forget about the unique foods as well.

Exercising + Chloe Ting challenge(s)

     Hello everyone! long time no talk! I hope everyone is doing okay so far. I came today because I wanted to say that today is been about three weeks now give or take that I started exercising. I usually do the workouts on the evening though, as I feel it works for me best. In some way it also helps me with my mental health as well, as I take the medication at nigh as prescribed by my psychiatrist. I want to think in some way it is helping me. I work out for about an hour or so, it makes me feel tired and relaxed and makes me sleep better and actually makes me go to bed as well. I want to think it is helping me in many ways than not. Even though I am not seeing many changes physically this soon, I am feeling some of the changes specially with my mental health. Yes, I have been wanting to give up and give it all up but I've come this far. 

    I am doing the Chloe Ting challenge one of them for now. I downloaded the app on my iPad that she has which it makes it in some way easier. I don't have to search for the workouts from whatever challenge she has though I don't mind looking for workouts. Her app makes it easier to work out because if I scroll it makes me not want to work out anymore. But anyway, after I do her workouts, I look for more on YouTube, I browse for what Id like to do that moment. If I cannot find something that I like I browse on the Grokker app. If I start feeling tired, I do something light or just some stretches, then a hot shower and right after I'm ready for bed. 

    I started exercising because I gained a lot of weight and I want to lose the weight. I want to feel happier, more energetic like I can conquer the world, and more confident than I do now. Happy with myself, and like I'm ready for the world. I'd like to love myself more than I already do now.

A visit to my friends at work on Las Vegas BLVD

This was today’s outfit of the day as I made my way to Las Vegas BLVD (strip) to visit my friends. It was a fun day getting to visit my old friends and managers at the Excalibur today. Did. It get to do much but got to hangout with them for a bit and talk with them as well. I miss them so much! Today was an accomplishment getting myself together to get out of the house for once. Yes I feel exhausted even though it was just for a few hours. As depression has been difficult lately for me. Not wanting to go out at all. Wanting to sleep all day and do nothing at all. So yes it was an accomplishment for me today. And tomorrow I will get to spend the day with my best friend! I missed her so much and I finally get to meet her baby! And I’m exited for that! 

I’ll be updating you all tomorrow of the shenanigans my best friend and I did along with her baby! The day has got to be fun! Talk to you guys tomorrow!!

Weekend self-care day

     This past Saturday, I did a self-care day/evening and it felt good. I like doing self-care days but I rarely do them. Not because I do not want to but because since at the moment I live with my mom at the moment. So, whenever I do or try to do anything of the sort she finds something wrong with it. I did not come here today to complain, I came because I wanted to share the products that I used that day, and what I did while on my self-care day to feel a but relaxed and such. So let’s start!

About a month ago this shampoo and conditioner was given to me by my mom. It did not have a bad smell

But it was not something that I liked. Though I liked the way it made my hair feel though, and I want to think that it did somewhat helped my hair grow even if it was a tiny but. Every time I wash my hair I wash it twice before any conditioner, why? To me it feels that I washed everything away from my head and hair, all the dirty and bad crap including if I used any other product, such as gel, muse or such to make my hair look nicer and to tame frizzy hairs. After the second I go in with the conditioner massage it in just like I do with the shampoo and leave the conditioner in for about five to ten minuses give or take. While I was my face and body, then rinse off. 

I found this at thee Dollar Tree a while back, and I used it for the first or second time on Saturday. And let me tell you it smells really good and made my face feel soft and clean. It does smell like blueberries but very lightly, but you can smell the fruitiness in there though. The face soap it self is blue, a nice blue, it does bubble up like most face soaps. It will leave your face feeling cleaned and refreshed and soft. If you have a Dollar Tree near by I highly recommend you picking one up if you see it.

Now, this body lotion I bought it from a Dollar General, and just Saturday I used the last bit of the lotion. I liked the smell, and how it made my skin feel. Soft hydrated with a nice scent. Im not sure if it helped to get my skin firm and supple, but it sure made it feel soft thats for sure. I am not sure if it was for that supposed Q10 to whatever that is in there.But I want to think it did something. 

Now. I found this leave in conditioner at the Dollar Tree and I got my felengies on it! As you can see, and I like how it makes my hair feel. I’ve used that brand of shampoos and conditioners for as long as I can remember. I will usually go for the strawberries and cream, the sun ripped strawberries or the coconut one. I like how the brand leave my hair nice and shiny and with a nice smell. This one I use it specially when I use the shampoo bar that I get at the Dollar Tree.

This wich hazel Ive had it for a while now, and I like it. I like the rose scent that it has. Whenever I use it to cleanse my face after washing my face, it makes it feel soft and hydrated, with a faint smell of roses of course. I don’t remember where I bought it from but I’m glad I was able to get it when I was able to do so.

These two night and day creams I got them from the Dollar Tree. I personally like how they smell. To me they have the subtle scent of a cantaloupe. And I’m not mad about it, since I like cantaloupe anyway. Just a few weeks ago I was at Walmart and saw they had cantaloupes, I grabbed one and that thing was a goner within two days. It tasted so stinking good! But anyway, these two face creams to me have a nice sense to them, and they leave your face nice,  soft, hydrated and glowing. If you have oily face I do not recommend them, if you’d like to try them just make sure to be careful. I do not want you to break out.

And now! For the final contender of the night this face mask! I do not remember where I got it from. I used this one for my self-care day, and it was nice. The smell of roses is what made me relax while I had some LoFi music on while I waited for it to do its thing. I liked how my face felt after. I saved the packet because I used the last of the juices in there and massaged them in to my face, which made my face feel extra nice. 

I enjoyed my self-care day very much so, and I cannot wait to do it again next week I hope. I’ll talk to you guys soon. And remember!

Favorite Type of Music

     Music has been a big part of my life. As a pre-teen middle school age I listened to mostly pop music. This was when my family and I lived in El Paso, TX. This was when I as well had a big stereo, I had a favorite stereo station that I listened to all the time, and you guessed it! it was pop music this was back in the early 2000's. I listened to pop music in Spanish. This was in my unpopular opinion when pop music was better the music, and lyrics told a story and in some way a meaning and such. Maybe I am being biased because I don't listen to pop music anymore. There are a few pop songs that I like in English as well. Jessie McCartney was my crush back in middle school, and of course you cannot go wrong with old school Christina Aguilera music, and YOU will never go wrong with Britney Spears because no one hates Britney in my opinion. One of favorite songs back then was 'Milkshake by Kelis' I did not know what the song insinuated back then until I listened to it again a few weeks ago and oh my goodness! Either way I still like the song anyway another favorite song of mine was 'Going Down by Young Joc' and do not give me wrong I still like it. I listened to it a few days ago on YouTube. Now 8th grade is when I started discovering about rock music, and I started liking it, the first rock band I liked and discovered was Good Charlotte. The one cd I owned from them back then was The Chronicles of Life & Death. It was one of my favorite albums I'm not going to lie. Then right when I started high school is when I started to discover more about rock music now called 'emo' music, but I'm not even mad about it. I embrace being an 'elder emo' now. I remember when I first discovered My Chemical Romance, I feel in love with the band, and had the biggest crush on Gerard Way. I believe I first heard of them when I heard Helena, and that was one of the song's I listened to them most. The main band I listened to and still do to this day is My Chemical Romance, but other than them I also listened to Seether, Simple Plan, Halestorm, Theory of a Deadman, and of course The Used. Little by little I was being introduced to heavier rock music, aka black metal, trash meal, etc. I was introduced to In This Moment by my boyfriend then. They are one of my favorite rock/metal bands that is fronted by a woman and let me tell you that Maria Brink is a lot more gorgeous in person, nicer and kinder than you think. I saw them live a few years back, I enjoyed my time at the concert very much so. Shinedown is another that I listen to and they were my first concert that I went to see at 19. 

    So all in all my favorite type of music since middle school has been rock & 'emo' music. I don't think it'll change any time soon.

scythe & Sparrow by Brynne Weaver

   So, the book is different yet the same. Epilogue starts with somewhat of a background on Rose, how she came to be in the circus life as well as a tarot reader and such. Though not to the full extent but gives you a small preview of her. As well as how she became the sparrow and helps other women who ask her for help in the most unusual ways in part, with the help of her tarot cards.

    How Fionn and Rose came to know one another was a bit unusual to me at least, yet at the same time it was in part kind of a Halmark movie scene in some way. Which I am not mad about at all, though what is partly funny to me is how Fionn yes though heart broken and living his Cinderman era in Nebraska is still shy as heck! As he is walking back towards his house after an evening run, gets a notification that someone has broken into his clinic. Though he thinks is Barbara a raccoon who likes to go through the medicine cabinet and get high and what not as well as any trash panda go through the trash and such. As he walks in through his clinic and do a sweep just to make sure his trash panda is not going through any medication, or trash finds Rose lying in one of the rooms with a cut pant leg, broken bone and blood. As he calls the ambulance he tries to in some way stabilize her leg and keep her as conscious as he's able to. After Fionn helps with surgery to get Rose's leg back in to place and such. As soon as Fionn finds out Rose has been leased from the hospital goes to her RV where she was dropped off to in hopes just to leave her motorcycle there and just make sure she'll be okay. Does not buy it that she'll be fine and invites her to stay at his house for the mean time while she recovers from her broken leg. In some way they start to know each other little by little. She finds out that one of his hobbies is crocheting with little old grandmas. Which I do not think is a bad thing at all, being surrounded by grandma's once a week would be the high light of my week if I'm being honest. Even if it was going to underground boxing fights every so often because why not. One of my favorite parts in the book was when Rowan and Sloane get to Fionn's house, after one of many of their yearly killing games. Is how Rose gets to meet them and she thinks that Rowan was the one who hurt Sloane. Though the scene how all three of them meet while Fionn is at his office is not the same as Butcher & Blackbird even though it was hilarious to me, at lean when I read B&B that part when Rowan and Sloane got to Fionn's house. As I mentioned before even though the scene is not the exact same, just by Rose relating the question Fionn asked what Rowan's childhood nickname was funny as heck, to me at least. It does have scenes where Lark, Sloane and Rose get to know each other, and how they all three become the best of friends. Rose was given a gold star by Lark and Sloane gave her the 'you're never getting rid of us, you're one of us now!' I just like the fact that if one of the girls is upset at one of the brothers all three of them gang up at the one brother. As well as how each one of them has the 'you do that/say that again I will murder you' glare for each of the brothers Lachlan, Rowan & Fionn.

    In some way Fionn and Rose's love story is somewhat like a Hallmark move it also gives dark Lifetime movie a little, and I am not mad about it all. I actually like it, I like the fact that he was willing to give his all to help her even to cover her murderous scenes and take blame in some ways for her and telling her that she finished it rather than agreeing with her that she 'started it' like she always told herself. Fionn was willing to give it all and protect Rose at all costs even from herself, was such a move. Even though on the surface he was like his brothers unintentionally at the same time he was different, choosing to be different and not give in to the same thing his brothers did, one being a serial killer and the other one being a contract murderer. 

    Do I recommend this book?? Absolutely! That is if you are not squeamish and don't easily get grossed out or any of such. Yes, it definitely has dark humor, a lot of funny parts, including but not limited a trash panda who likes to get high and always in search of more snacks and makes friends with Poddles in the circus life. Though I feel it could had been a bit funnier, and darker than the first two books, it was still okay enough. All three books ruin some type of food for you, such as ice cream *vanilla*, cotton candy, and the nonfoods such as eyeballs, cannibalism and such. I personally did not mind any of that. So, yea as I said before if you like dark humor, comedy, and such I highly recommend the book. Or shall I say the trilogy. I enjoyed it a lot.

Leather & Lark by Brynne Weaver

 

                                                        

    Leather & Lark, the story of 'hitman' aka serial killer for hire. When he was called to help 'clean' the murder scene that Lark Montague did. He got upset in regard to that. As he was close enough to convince his youngest brother to move back to Boston, after a nasty break up he had. As this was on a Halloween party, Lachlan Kane can be a very deranged killer, but even worse when it has to do with the people he loves dearly. That night he was called in by his boss to clean that murder scene he was upset not at Lark but because he left his brother all alone in a miserable state of mind at a party close to convince him to move back. He let his nasty emotions out on 'Blunder Barbie' aka Lark Montague.

    Now this is where it starts getting good in my point of view. Years later at Sloane's (Larks best friend) and her husband Rowans new restaurant opening called Butcher & Blackbird. Lark and Lachlan get to mean one another for the very first time few years after that one chaotic Halloween they both had. They just do not know who one another is, and that they already had met one another in different circumstances. As the first time they met, she called him 'Budget Batman' and he called her 'Blunder Barbie'. Of course, as it was a Halloween night the very first time they met and such. Lark had walked out to the balcony of Rowans apartment when she thought no one was watching her to get a breath of fresh air. Lachlan followed suite right behind her. They both started somewhat getting to know each other, and of course it led up to both kissing one other and such. She found out in that tine who he was, as he had let out his 'Christ Jesus' in a manic raspy voice he had used the first time around.

    After the whole finding out who one another was she stated that she "hated him" because he had put her in his car's trunk the very first time. She had escaped and part it was the reason his boss Leander lost the contract he had with Larks stepdad. Now Larks auntie Ether convinces her to marry Lachlan not just to save his life and her gaining the contract back with Lachlan's boss but to also save his brothers Rowan and Fionn's life as well as much as Sloanes' life as well. The whole I 'dislike' and 'hate' towards one another and all earns them to get to know one another at a deeper level. As well as him finding out that Lark is a 'people deleter' as she likes to call it. No one knows what she does or who she truly is beneath the rainbows and sunshine, glitter and gold stars full of energy and all. But when she confides what she does to Lachlan she feels much better, as she knows in some way that he won't judge her or tell anyone what she truly is or what she does underneath it all. The more they get to know one another the more they start falling for one another and think if there may be something more than just an 'arranged' married between the two. Lachlan is in some way the first to start falling in love for her. Yes, there is something between them yet none of them want to say a single thing to one another, because for one they do not know how to say it or how to start with that conversation. As they both are in some way full of pride with a soft side. I will say this though somewhere on chapter 17 Lark gives Lachlan some not all but some details on what happened at Ashburn school and why both Sloane and Lark dropped out and finished and graduated homeschooled. As well as the why she dislikes small spaces. in regard to her Claustrophobia. 

    Long story short though I recommend the book. If you like dark humor, spiciness, romance. I highly recommend this book. I just feel it could be a bit more attention grabby, and more descriptive in some ways. I just feel like it was not grabbing my attention as much as Butcher & Blackbird did. It did not give me much to imagine any of the scenes or picture much of it at all. Yes, I loved the book and the love/hate from the characters. I just feel it was not much to go on for, as much as I wanted to. But we'll see with the next and last book in the series Scythe & Sparrow.

NEXT BOOK.......

A Dollar Tree haul!!

Ok guys!! So I and my mom found these juices at our local Dollar Tree. We had first found 

about these juices a few months ago and she and I bought some and the flavors were 

mostly coconut water & passionfruit and coconut water & mango. But yesterday we found these flavor

coconut water and pineapple. It is so stinking good!! I love coconut water its so refreshing! and cooling to me at least specially when its iced cold on a hot summer day. I will keep on buying these as long as I can and as log as I find them at the Dollar Tree.

So! These stir fry cup of noodles, its a different flavor that is new to me.

I have had the BBQ one before, but I don't think I have seen that flavor before that I

can recall. But anyway, so I bought two of them just last night and I had one, and I can say it 

did not disappoint at all. Yes it was spicy, but not it burns your mouth type of way that it feels

there is fire in there and you feel like your about to die at all. Just enough spice that it will be okay to 

finish it in an okay amount of time.

Now guys! Let me start with the strawberry cookies okay!? I saw two packs left and

 I had to get them! I was excited that I was able to find even if it was two

 packs of the cookies the strawberry flavor.

Why you ask? Because the strawberry flavor cookies

are my favorite one. I was saddened when I found out a few years

back that Grandma's cookies had discontinued the strawberry flavor because

'it was not a good seller' I was told by the delivery person when I was working at a gas 

station at the time. I was bummed when I was told about that. But now every time I go to the grocery store and find strawberry flavor cookies, I have to get them. Yes I know its all fake flavors and lots of

sugar and all, but I still like them very much so.

When I was younger than what I am now, there was a time when I was

mostly in the hospital for months at a time. Because at the time I did not care and 

I was not taking care of myself or my diabetes *I'm a type one by the way* and I was 

mostly in the hospital. But anyway my mom used to buy me these sudoku puzzles thinking 

it would make me better at math or something. It never did, but what id did though was keeping me entertained. I enjoyed the heck out of these a lot. Saw a few sudoku puzzle books and decided for this one at the Dollar Tree. Because if I feel bored with anything else at home yet I want to busy myself with something. I can grab the sudoku book and work on it, just because.

So!! I saw three books including this one on the book section at Dollar Tree.

I was going to purchase all three, but I decided against it and went for this one instead. 

Only because I am not sure if I will like it or not, if I find that I like the writing and such, I will go back 

and purchase the other ones and give them a try. I also went for it because other than wanting to read it

I want to write my own review for the book. I have not found any reviews for this book or the author.

But anyway, I wanted to give it a try because why not, I also am reading Brynne Weaver's trilogy books all over again and writing my reviews on all three of them. I am enjoying the heck out of the books now more than I did the first time around. So I hope you are looking forward to that because I am. :)

As soon as I entered the store as typical of me I went straight to the DIY section. I do not know why I tend to do that to almost every store I go to if it has a DIY section I like heading towards that area. Anyway though, I found this industrial glue stick. Not exactly sure what I will use this glue stick for but I am sure Ill find a use for it. I like that it is a mess free glue stick. 

I grabbed these paints, because I have a wooden box drawer

that I bought at Ikea a few months ago when I went with my mom.

I had bought it because since I have lots of DIY items and nick knacks it serves 

well to store them well in there. But anyway! I bought the paints because I want to 

paint the wooden box now. I was originally going to buy three with the third one being 

purple but since I bout the pink and blue I figured I can mix both and make purple. I have

an idea on how I want to paint it, I just have to make do on the time to sit and paint.

So, I had been on the lookout for a coloring book for some time. I found several at the Dollar Tree

but this one caught my eyeballs more than the other ones. Of course, I had to grab it and opted to grab a new pack of crayons as well. The pack of crayons are new colors to me at least; I don't think I have seen that pack before. I am excited foe the coloring book, no I did not go for the coloring book because of Tick Tock or whatever! I don't even own an account to be honest. I just wanted one because I often times get bored, and I don't know what to do and since I mostly spend time in my room. I don't want to do anything else or even read or watch videos on YouTube or even moves so I went for this to pass time and not feel as bored as I often am. I just need one coloring book that I know I like and perhaps buy another one in the near future as long as I know I will be almost done with the one that I have. I do not need one hundred million books or colors, let alone expensive ones, that I probably will forget about. So yeah, I am okay with this one for the mean time thank you very much.

So, this soap! I found it at the Dollar Tree I have the Orangie looking one as well. Though I am on the hunt for the green one. I am excited that I have been able to find these at my local Dollar Tree store, specially that brand, I have read and heard a lot of good things about the brand. I am just missing the green one though I hope to find it soon. As I cannot wait to start using them. I also have had found other good name brands at the Dollar Tree even dupes of name brands that are jus as good if not better than the name brands in my opinion. 

These antibacterial hand wipes I like to carry them in my bag for just in case, especially when I'm out and about at the thrift store, or when I am out at the park and take my own food and my hands get sticky or don't have a restroom nearby or anywhere to wash my hands. To me these come in handy pretty much in about any occasion. I constantly wash my hands more so when I am out and abut and start feeling my hands nasty, dirty, sticky or a combination of all three. To me though they do come in handy in any occasion, even hand sanitizer. I like that these hand wipes are green apple scented. 

And last but not least! Deodorant! I needed some deodorant of course like any 'normal' person.

I saw this one and of course gave it some sniff sniff and I liked how it smelled! It smells more like Lavander than it does vanilla either way I like how it smells. I tend to go for the spray deodorant as I like it better and it does not stain my shirts at all, like it does with the bar ones like this one no matter the brand. Now since its summertime in Las Vegas, the spray deodorant does not do me on the least any justice. So I have to resort to the bar deodorant like this one, so I don't smell nasty, or nastier than I should when I'm out and about on this heat.

This is pretty much what I bought at my local Dollar Tree. I am pretty happy with my purchase and trust me none of this will go to waste. Everything will be used. All of it is what I wanted and needed anyway and it will sure keep me busy for some time. I will talk to you all next time.
